TARC Really Understands HOAs

Recently, TARC Construction, Inc. completed asphalt repairs on a large-scale HOA asphalt paving project in San Ramon, CA. The last phase consisted of 82,118 sq. feet of repaired asphalt across several designated locations throughout the community.

Earlier this year, we removed the existing asphalt, re-compacted the base material, reset all the utility boxes, monuments, manholes and covers to proper finish grade, then installed new hot mix asphalt and rolled for proper compaction. All the areas were barricaded during and after the repair process and the job was completed in four-weekday mobilizations.

The last phase of this two-year project will include 190,000 square feet of two coats of Asphalt Emulsion sealer applied per the manufacturer’s specifications. The work will be completed this spring across three weekdays, to minimize the disruption to the community. Upon completion, all the pavement markings will be restriped as per the existing layout, including the repainting of all red curbs.
For a project of this size, there is a lot of coordination and planning that must be done. Communication is the key to a successful job, as is a thorough checklist:
