Project Profile: HOA in San Jose, CA.
Recently, TARC Construction, Inc. was awarded a major project at a Homeowners Association in San Jose. Working closely with the Association’s management company, our senior estimator Gabe Mazotti developed a comprehensive plan to maintain the HOA’s roadways and parking lots, including plans for a pavement rehab project. With a course of action set, Gabe activated our full TARC Team, submitted work orders and phasing plans. Once the property was posted and notified, TARC began the first phase of the project: concrete and asphalt repairs.
TARC removed and replaced 40 linear feet of damaged curbs and gutters, and 31,400 square feet of damaged asphalt. This included 51 designated locations and 700+ tons of hot mix asphalt. To minimize the impact to the residents, the asphalt repair phase of the project was spread out over several days. The next phase will involve applying two coats of asphalt sealer, per the manufacturer’s specification, to approximately 232,700 square feet of existing asphalt, and a re-stripe of all existing pavement markings and curbs.
