Marissa Burton has been an integral part of the TARC team for the past two and a half months, ensuring that things run smoothly behind the scenes. From employee onboarding and offboarding to handling health and benefits insurance administration and managing billing processes, Marissa’s role is crucial in keeping the office organized and efficient.

What do you like best about your job? “What I enjoy most about my job is the collaboration with others and the sense of teamwork that comes with it. Problem-solving is something I’ve always found rewarding, and working alongside people who bring different perspectives to the table makes that even more enjoyable. It feels like a family here at TARC – everyone is willing to help, share knowledge, and work together to achieve common goals.”

Favorite Food: Pho or any kind of soup. “I don’t think there’s one soup I don’t enjoy – even in hot weather!”

Favorite Dessert: “I don’t like sweets. I’m more of a salty, savory, spicy kind of lady.”

Favorite Sports Team: The 49ers and SF Giants are her go-to teams.

Any Pets?: “I don’t have any pets, but dogs are my favorite. I hope to have a Border Collie one day.”
